Today I set my alarm-clock early, in order to connect with the Orchestra via Skype. It was 7:00 am in Mexico City and 5:30 pm in Ahmedabad. For the first time, I was able to see and hear the whole Orchestra live, and they were able to see and hear me together at once! As I sat in front of my computer listening to them sing, tears of joy and wonder came to my eyes.
I am so grateful to be a part of this project! It gives me so much purpose, meaning and inspiration!
My 10 year-old son woke up early, too. He was a witness to the encounter. This photograph is his.
Hoy puse mi alarma temprano para conectarme con la Orquesta por Skype. Eran las 7:00 am en la ciudad de México y las 5:30 pm en Ahmedabad. ¡Por primera vez, pude ver y escuchar a la Orquesta completa en vivo, y ellos pudieron ver y escucharme, todos juntos al mismo tiempo! Sentada delante de mi computadora, oyéndolos cantar, las lágrimas de alegría y de asombro se hicieron en mis ojos. ¡Me siento tan agradecida por ser parte de este proyecto! ¡Me da tanto propósito, significado e inspiración!
Mi hijo de 10 años de edad se despertó temprano también. Él fue testigo del encuentro. Esta fotografía es suya.
